What we check for you before you bid
Every profile gets the standard checks (SAM.gov, insurance, references) plus these for security firms:
- State security or fire license on file
- Licensed officers or technicians
- Background check program
- Commercial auto liability of at least $1M
Each bid's readiness report also looks for what often decides security bids: state licensing of the company and each officer or technician (for example the Texas DPS Private Security Bureau and State Fire Marshal), armed versus unarmed requirements, NFPA 72/13/25 and NICET levels, UL listing, CJIS for police data, NDAA Section 889 and state bans on certain camera brands, background checks, higher liability limits for guard services.
