What we check for you before you bid

Every profile gets the standard checks (SAM.gov, insurance, references) plus these for construction firms:

  • Bonding capacity
  • Contractor or trade licenses where your state requires them
  • A supervisor with OSHA 30
  • EMR of 1.0 or lower
  • Commercial auto liability of at least $1M
  • Prevailing wage / certified payroll experience

Each bid's readiness report also looks for what often decides construction bids: bid bonds (often 5%), payment and performance bond thresholds, prevailing wage or Davis-Bacon rates and certified payroll, state contractor and trade licenses, HUB/DBE subcontracting plans, safety record (EMR, OSHA), builder's risk insurance, liquidated damages, mandatory pre-bid meetings, single-project bond limit versus the project size.
